Definitely Baby... our September Update!
Well we're delighted to say that the past few months have been busy ones here at DB!
Earlier this week the photo shoot for our Autumn/Winter collection took place, modelled beautifully by Rebecca who at 30 weeks pregnant did a really fantastic job. So keep your eyes open for our new ranges that we will be launching on the site in the next week - there are some truly fab maternity clothes coming your way!
Since launching Definitely Baby earlier this year we've discovered that the maternity fashion industry never stops and new ranges are appearing all the time, so we've been keeping up to date with the latest goings on in the maternity wear world, visiting shows, suppliers etc.. finding out what's hot and what's not so that we can bring you fantastic range of great quality and stylish maternity wear to see you through your pregnancy and in some cases beyond.
DB have also achieved quite a lot of coverage in the press both locally and nationally which has been brilliant and has really helped raise our profile and in some instances has meant we have been able offer our customers some great deals too! So our sincere thanks go to Suman, Debs, Karen, Sally-Ann, Lynn, Cassandra, Maggie and Laura for their help and support - it's HUGELY appreciated! And there's still more to come..
Thanks also to Davina McCall, who wore a dress we'd supplied to her during the last series of Big Brother - Davina's stylist told us "It looked great on her and she was very happy!", which was fantastic to hear.
Our customer is, as it should be, most important thing to us and we are always looking for ways to meet our customers requirements better where we can, so since our launch in March we have offered a private appointments service (which is already proving popular!) to those living in and around Oxford, and last month we started holding Open Days at our showroom in Tackley, nr Oxford so anyone can pop along at their leisure, check out the different maternity clothes in our range and get a nice cup of tea and some biscuits into the bargain!
What's next then... well keep an eye out for Definitely Baby in I'm Pregnant, Pregnancy & Birth and Prima Pregnancy & Baby magazines and if Oxford's a bit far away for you, then we'll be attending a few mum & baby shows between now and the end of October in Teddington, Witney and The Baby Show at Earls Court if you fancy popping along to say hello!?
On a more personal level, our daughter Molly really is the apple of her parents eye and she's an increasingly gorgeous little girl (apart from her rare premature terrible two's moments!). She's going to be two at the beginning of October - REALLY cannot believe just how quickly the last couple of years have gone by! - she has a true love for Pingu, dancing to The Charlatans, feeding the ducks "Duck Bread" and is already a right little chatterbox (think she may get that from me!!) She's already managed to get her face in the "In Business" section of the Oxford Times too! Ladies, in retrospect the search for maternity wear, the blood tests, not being able to eat peanuts or pate, labour, etc... were soooooo worth it!
