Definitely Baby.. February Update!
Well since my update back in September things have continued to be all go here!
Stylist Karen Lewis who regularly styles for Pregnancy & Birth and Mother & Baby magazines has kindly put together some of her tips on buying the right maternity clothes for DB visitors to read. So if you're having trouble choosing the right maternity jeans or trousers, are confused by the terminology that often comes with buying maternity clothes, are wondering when to start buying maternity wear, need to know what essentials will see you through your pregnancy or even if you want to know what not too wear?! Then we can help!
Also since our last update, we are delighted to have made the pages of Prima Pregnancy & Baby and I'm Pregnant magazine's fashion features. AND! We made it onto the front cover of Pregnancy & Birth, which we were really excited about. Keep your eyes peeled though.. as there's more to come!
2007 see's the launch of Definitely Baby's first maternity wear Catalogue which we're chuffed to bits about, as it will enable our customer's to flick though our ranges from the comfort of their armchairs in addition to buying online. The catalogue is currently in it's final production stages, so will be available for distribution in the next week or so! More locally, DB are now hosting antenatal classes at our Tackley premises. The classes are held by a local NHS Midwives and Health Visitors team and give mums and dad's to be an opportunity to find out some of what they can expect from their impending arrival, be it what to take to the hospital, the labour, the home coming, choosing the right nappies, information on breast feeding & bottle feeding baby and lots more. It's also a great forum for parent's to be to ask questions and air concerns that they may feel unable to do in other environments, so we are truly delighted to be involved.
So what's next.... well we've got our new Spring/Summer range winging it's way to us as I type which we plan to launch on the site in the next couple of weeks. We're really pleased with the range as it's got some great pieces which we hope you will like too... but of course we can't give too much away at this stage, so you'll have to visit us again soon!
DB will be hitting the road once again in 2007. The first show we will be attending this year is The Baby Show at London's ExCel on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March, so if you're already going to the show or fancy coming and having a look at our ranges close up, do visit us on Stand D8.
On a personal note, things are really great, Mark and I are still talking after almost a year of running Definitely Baby together! And Molly, well her terrible two moments are less frequent, although the latest thing (and I'm glad to say it appears to be common amongst her friends too) is sharing... it's just not her idea of fun at all! Christmas to her though was fabulous, she really "got it" for the first time and was so excited every time she saw a Christmas tree with it's sparkly lights. She wasn't quite so keen on Father Christmas close up with his ho-ho-ho's, but you didn't hear her complaining about the presents!
And now a new year and lots more adventures to be had by all I'm sure!
