Gift vouchers
Where can I purchase Definitely Baby gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available to buy in denominations of £5.00, £10.00, £25.00 and £50.00 either using the order form at the back of our catalogue or online from our vouchers department.
If Gift vouchers are puchased as a single item, there is a £1.00 post and packaging cost (usually £3.50). Gift vouchers are sent out by Royal Mail's "Signed For" delivery service to ensure safe receipt.
Reedeming your gift vouchers
To redeem your gift voucher, follow the simple steps below:
Select the items you wish to order, using your Shopping Basket in the usual way. When you have finished shopping 'Checkout'.
Enter your unique gift voucher reference(s) number(s) (shown on the reverse of your voucher) into the 'Gift Voucher/Discount Code' field on the 'Checkout - payment' page.
Once your order has been received and your gift voucher code is validated the appropriate level of discount will be applied, please do not be alarmed when the total is not immediately reduced, as your discount will not show during the checkout process. You will however receive a detailed order confirmation prior to despatch via email summarising your order which will show your Gift Voucher discount. In addition a packing slip will be shipped with your goods summarising your order in detail.
Please note: you will be required to enter your credit/debit card details on the payment page, your card however will only be charged should the total amount of your order exceed the total value of the gift voucher(s) used. (For example: gift voucher total = £30.00; order total (incl.p&p) £40.00 - a debit of £10.00 for difference would then be deducted from the card details provided). The packing slip sent with your goods will reflect this.
Note: The gift certificate has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable.
Gift voucher not applied to order
To use a gift voucher, you must enter the unique gift voucher code on the reverse of your voucher when placing your order. If you don't do this, the gift voucher won't be applied and you will be charged the full amount for the order.
Lost or missing gift vouchers
We can reissue some lost gift voucher. E-mail info@definitelybaby.com the details (recipient's name and e-mail address, order number, date issued and any other details you have) and we'll let you know if we can cancel the old gift voucher and issue a new one.
Please note: unfortunately we are unable to reissue promotional gift certificates.
Gift vouchers sent to the wrong address
If you placed an order for a gift voucher to be sent to someone else, but think you entered the wrong postal address (or the recipient did not receive the gift voucher), please e-mail info@definitelybaby.com with the order number and the correct address. If possible, we'll cancel the incorrectly-addressed gift voucher and resend to the correct address.
The small print
1. These conditions apply to gift vouchers which have a claim code with a 14 digit combination of letters and numbers (Different conditions apply to promotional gift vouchers which have a claim code with a 16 digit combination of letters and numbers).
2. Gift vouchers must be redeemed at our website or via our catalogue, towards the purchase of products listed in definitelybaby.com's catalogue. They cannot be redeemed at any of definitelybaby's Marketplace, Auctions stores or at any of definitelybaby.com's Trusted Partner sites.
3. The gift voucher cannot be used to pay for definitelybaby.com gift vouchers.
4. The gift voucher has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable.
5. If the goods purchased are less then the full value of the voucher then a credit note or gift voucher for that amount will be issued.
6. If the order exceeds the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card.
7. Gift vouchers and unused portions of gift vouchers expire one year from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.

9. One or more gift vouchers can be redeemed against an order.
