How do I go about exchanging the item I ordered for a different size?

Easy! Simply complete the exchange section on the back of your returns slip detailing the item(s) you are returning, size etc.. and let us know the new size(s) you require, then send it back to us at Unit 6 Court Farm Barns, Medcroft Road, Tackley, Oxfordshire, OX5 3AL.

Once received by Definitely Baby, the exchange items you have requested will be sent out to you as quickly as possible. We will send you an email confirming this exchange and an updated order confirmation/despatch note will be sent out with your goods.

In instances where the alternative size is no longer available you will of course be notified and a credit will be made to you in the normal way.

Please note: You will not be charged post and packaging for this service (usually £3.50).

Can I exchange the item ordered for a different item entirely?

Of course. Simply complete the exchange section on the back of your returns slip detailing the item(s) you are returning, size etc.. and let us know the new item and size(s) you require, then send the exchange item(s) back to us at Unit 6 Court Farm Barns, Medcroft Road, Tackley, Oxfordshire, OX5 3AL.

If you have requested to exchange with items of a higher/lower value, any difference due will be charged/creditted to the card used to pay for the original order.

Do you offer any kind of guarantee?

We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied you may return your goods within 7 days for an exchange or full refund.

The standard manufacturer guarantees apply to all maternity wear garments purchased via Definitely Baby.

How do I go about returning an items / cancelling my order?

Faulty / damaged goods or those delivered in error can be returned for replacement or full refund (including any postal charges incurred) within 7 working days (starting from the day after the goods were received).

Goods correctly delivered according to order and of merchantable quality may also be returned for any reason, within 10 working days (starting from the day after the goods were received), in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. However, please note that in this case, any costs incurred in returning the item(s) to us cannot be met by Definitely Baby, nor can any original delivery charges involved in dispatching the item(s) to the customer be refunded.

Please note: All items requiring refund must be returned to us unused and in their original condition.

When making a return please complete the Returns Form on your Delivery Note and send it to Definitely Baby, Unit 6, Court Farm Barns, Medcroft Road, Tackley, Oxfordshire, OX5 3AL (as detailed).

Please ensure you obtain a "Proof of Posting" certificate (available free from the Post Office) when returning goods, as definitelybaby.com unfortunately cannot accept responsibility or make refunds on items that may get lost in transit. You should keep this certificate until you have received your refund or replacement. Please allow up to ten working days for returned goods to reach us.

What happens if my return gets lots in the post?

In the unlikely event that the item you are returning to us should go missing you will need to complete a "Lost, damaged or delayed inland mail claims form" which is available from your local Post Office or you can download the form here.

To make a claim you will require a "Proof of Posting" certificate (which we recommend you obtain from the Post Office when you return any goods) and proof of purchase/value of your goods. We will of course be happy to provide you with a copy of the despatch note that you received with your order initially to enable you to progress this claim.

Unfortunately definitelybaby.com cannot accept responsibility or make refunds on items that may get lost in transit.
